BMW FMA OPT IN/OUT

BMW Centers have the option to opt out of the monthly pushed FMAs.

If a Center would like to opt out of receiving the monthly pushed FMAs, there are two options:

Full Opt Out

Full Opt Out will opt the Center out of receiving any and all pushed FMAs. This includes National Sales Event, Regional Sales Event, BMW Certified, Monthly Lease and/or Finance Offers, Model Launch etc. The Center can work with their BMW Digital Assistant each month to see what FMAs are available and request them to be added on a case by case basis.

Offer Opt Out

Offer Opt Out will opt the Center out of receiving any FMAs that include an offer (Credit, Finance, Lease, etc.) The Center will keep receiving any pushed FMAs that do not include an offer.

How to opt out?

Choose Full Opt Out or Offer Opt Out below. Shift Digital will process the request and inform the appropriate parties. The Center's opt out status will be effective starting with the following FMA push. Opting out will not retroactively remove previous pushed FMAs.

By selecting "Full Opt Out", you agree to not receive any automatic insertion of BMW FMAs to your homepage slideshow on your BMW website.

Are you currently Opted Out and would like to start receiving all pushed BMW FMAs again? Select the below option.

Opt In

By selecting "Opt In", you agree to opt in to the automatic insertion of all BMW FMAs to the homepage slideshow on your BMW website.


FAQ

What if a BMW Center goes through a buy/sell, will they stay on the opt out list?

No. If a BMW Center goes through a buy/sell, they will need to submit a new opt out request.

What if a BMW Center changes website providers, will they stay on the opt out list?

Yes.

What if a BMW Center is opted out, but wants one of the pushed FMAs live on their site?

The Center can reach out to their BMW Digital Assistant and/or provider who can assist with adding the FMA.

Does opting out of the pushed FMAs opt a BMW Center out from receiving pushed pages?

No. Dealers are required to receive all national pushed landing pages. If the landing page is placed in the navigation, dealers can remove the link from the navigation if they do not want the page accessible for their customers.

How does a BMW Center opt back in to receiving the pushed FMAs?

If a BMW Center would like to opt back in to receiving the pushed FMAs, they can go to the form above and can select the Opt In option.

Can a BMW Center change their opt out status from Full Opt Out to Offer Opt Out (or vice versa)?

Yes. If a BMW Center would like to adjust their opt out status, they can re-submit the form above with the Opt Out option they would like to move forward with.

Are all BMW Centers automatically considered opt in if they do not submit a form?

Yes. All BMW Centers are automatically considered opt in until a request for opt out is received.

What if a BMW Center does not know their opt out status?
